Who knew? Then Again, Ideas Come From Everywhere.

Okay, so nothing too interesting has been happening. Over the weekend I was with some friends, no big deal.
The MTV Music Awards were last night, and surprisingly, they were funny. Like, much funnier than usual. Andy Samburg was a pretty kick ass host though :)
So, of course I'm going to mention this, but yes, I saw the New Moon trailer. And yeah...I freaked a little. But it definitely looked good. I hope it lives up to the book. Let's see if Chris Weitz can do better than Catherine Hardwicke (Which we all hope he will!)
In government today, we watched Saving Private Ryan. Well the beginning of it anyway. I didn't pay much attention because I was busy reading the new Generation Dead book, Kiss of Life.
Anyhow, you know what I realized? The My Chemical Romance video, The Ghost of You, was based on Saving Private Ryan. I mean, I was watching it, and instead of Tom Hanks getting shot at, it could see it being Gerard Way. I was proud of myself for realizing that. Besides, I'd never even seen that movie before today. Not a big fan of war movies.
Did anyone else make this connection?
